macBuntu

I work at an all-mac shop now, but for the love of all that is open-source, I program in Linux. I'm not as brave as this guy, So, for $80 Parallels + $2000 imac + $80 Microsoft Ergonomic keyboard, I have the most expensive Ubuntu distribution ever conceived for the Desktop! I would have just dual-booted, but I was afraid that I would never get all the drivers to work, because, seriously, how many macs out there get wiped for Ubuntu? You can build twice the box for half the price, so I don't imagine anyone out there is really bothering, other than for fun. I've got to hand it to Parallels, Everything works, including sound and video, and full screen at 2560x1440. However, there is no coherence mode available, but that's okay, I maximize Ubuntu and use that all day long.
